Meet Our Team
New Works is hoping to empower San Antonio Youth through our shows and our education programs. THis is no small feat, however, we have a team of dedicated professionals in education, entrepreneurship, and theatre who are all dedicated to this goal.

Wren has worked and participated in Theatre in San Antonio since 2016. Wren has been an actor, costume designer, writer, and director for multiple productions. Wren has also invested in the San Antonio entrepreneurship community for the past two years. (She/Her)
Taylor is a senior at Trinity University studying Biology and going into a Masters for Marine Biology. She grew up in Houston and now lives in San Antonio, where she was first introduced to theatre and the rest of the great team of New Works! She came to New Works looking to help bring theatre to students when they may be needing it most (middle school). Her love for putting a good show on has ended in her becoming the COO and Chair of New Works.
Chief Artistic Officer - Toni Tresca
(They/Them)
Tresca was raised in Mineola, Texas before moving to San Antonio to attend Trinity University; they graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a minor in Theatre in December 2021. Tresca is one of the cofounders of New Works SA and has served as the group's Artistic Director since the group's inception. (They/Them)
Taylor was born and raised on the Southwest side of San Antonio and has been creating theater for the past 8 years. Scarlett is familiar with all areas of theater including stage management, acting, prop designing, set designing, and costume designing. Scarlett is continuing to gain knowledge through her Theater and Business education at Trinity University which she will complete in 2023. Taylor is excited for the opportunity to combine her two areas of study while simultaneously encouraging San Antonio artists to tell their stories.
Co-Chief Education Officer - Christina O’Keefe

She has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Her professional experience focuses mostly on education. She has over 7 years of experience working as an elementary teacher, and over 4 years in the school administrative department (currently working as a Dean of Students). She also has experience in curriculum development. She enjoys serving and advocating for underserved children and their families, which she has done through volunteering opportunities, and while working for a nonprofit organization for over 4 years.
